Title – Its fairly small as its obvious what this page is and it is self explanatory. However it is still needed so it is in a soft, clear font that doesn't’t distract the reader from using the page for its purpose; to see what is in the magazine and to find a certain article.

Dominant image –The dominant image take up two thirds of the page and shows the focus of the main article. It is un-obstructed and clear. This attracts the readers as they can clearly see the image and decide if they are interested in the article.

Main stories and page numbers –This is the purpose of the page so it is clearly put on a white background in a list form. It also has clear black and red writing and the headers for the contents are slightly bigger and more obvious. This makes it easier for the readers to use the page and find what they want to find.

Other stories and page number- This is also in a list form, red and black writing and white background. This is so that people can read it easily and see what page it is and what it is about.

Image title and reference –This makes it easy to find the main story shown in the dominant image. It has the fact that it is the cover story in a bold and contrasting red box. Then it has the page number, larger than the other writing to make it obvious. Then the word ’muse’ underneath, short and simple and in bold white writing to make it clear. Then a smaller font showing a strapline to go with the story. It is also placed over the image to show the connection between the two but is not over the main focus of the image.
