Distance Definition: The definition of distance is simply the length traveled in any direction

For example a man(yellow line) travels 5m east from his starting position or origin(X). This makes his total distance traveled 5m

Next the man(yellow line) travels 10m north making his distance 15m

The man decides to do an epic cartwheel across the court ending up 10m west. This makes his distance a total of 25m

The bunny lunges and then the man does a barrel roll going 14m at 45 degrees while throwing the holy hand grenade at the bunny This makes his distance 49m
