Notice is hereby given that the Glasgow City Council will receive bids until the 19th day of September, 2016, at 5:00 o’clock p.m., M.D.T. for the purchase of one used aerial firefighting apparatus priced at or under $150,000.00, in accordance with the specifications therefore, which may be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk, 319 3rd Street South, Glasgow, Montana, telephone no. 406-228-2476, FAX no. 406-228-2479. No bids will be accepted after the deadline. The City Council, in open session, will publicly open, examine and de-clare the same, at 5:30 p.m. on said date.

Bid security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid which shall be: (i) lawful money of the United States, cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order, certificate of de-posit, money market certificate; (ii) bank draft drawn and issued by a federally-chartered or state-chartered bank and savings and loan association that is insured by or for which insurance is administered by the federal deposit insurance corporation; (iii) bank draft drawn and issued by a credit union insured by the national credit union share insurance fund; or (iv) a bid bond or bonds executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Montana; must accompany each bid. Myron and Alice Redfield, her mother, Vivian Stover of Nashua, and their granddaugh-ter, Kheyerah, went to Helena on August 25 to celebrate KayeD Redfield’s birthday. They stayed with Myron and Alice’s son, daughter-in-law and grandchil-dren, Logan, Justine, KayeD, and Taylor Redfield.

On Sept. 12, Cowboy and Kari Murch came to help her parents and brother, Lee, Terry and Bryce Risa, with cattle work.

Virgil Nelson attended his grandson Tyson Nelson’s foot-ball game in Wolf Point on Sept. 9 While there he visited his son Jeff Nelson.

Debbie Nelson spent time with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Randy and Wanda Swenson, in Grenora, N.D.

Sept. 6th, Lee and Terry Risa went to Beach, N.D., to watch Collin play in a Junior High football game.

Darla Larson traveled to Lac-ey, Wash., and spent a couple weeks with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, Jayme, Mark, Brooklyn and Jackson Iddins.

Myron and Alice Redfield and her mother, Vivian Stover of Nashua went to Quepelle, Sas-katchewan, to visit Vivian’s son and Alice’s brother, Larry and Tanya Stover. While they were there, they celebrated Dawson Stover’s birthday. On the way home, they stopped and watched Dawson rope at a contest.
