Animals can be classified into six groups

Mammals

Amphibians

Birds

Some important facts to rememberNot all birds can fly.Eg. 1) The penguin has paddle-shaped wings which serve as flippers for swimming.

Eg. 2) The ostrich is the largest bird in the world and it cannot fly. However, it can run very fast.

Fish
