Room users are urged to contact the Academic Support Center (882-6703) prior to the start of their classes An ASC staff member can meet with them in the auditorium to demonstrate operations and answer questions concerning their specific needs The room is checked throughout the semester for proper operation of the installed technology but if you notice a problem please alert Classroom Technology Services (882-6703)

Connect a laptop to the HDMI or VGA cable for visual display Connect the 35mm cable to for audio if using the VGA connection or analog audio with HDMI output For audio over HDMI the settings on the laptop may need adjusting

Macintosh laptops will need a specific VGA or HDMI adapter(Models within the last few years should need Mini-DisplayPort adapters Contact TigerTech in the Mizzou Store to acquire one) Models older than that will need different adapters

Windows XP and Windows Vistareg Fn+FunctionWindows 7 and 8 Windows+P to bring up a toggle menu to select Duplicate Macintosh CMD+F1 to MirrorConsult your computer users guide for specific information on your computer

Guest Laptop Mirroring Shortcut KeysMost laptops wiill project an image to a secondary display immediately when connectedIf the projection is not automatic certain shortcuts or keystrokes may be necessary

To connect a VCR or DVD use component cables

The jack in the room is mono RCA or mini 35mm

If an adaptar is needed please contact ASC

Video Playback

Power to the Projector

Input Select(automatically selects the next input with a live signal)

Adjust Volume Levels

AV Mute(block audiovisual content without powering off the projector)

Select Specific Input(These are usually in rooms with computers VCRs or other such equipment is installed)

Adjust the Shape of the Image

AV playback decks can connect via the HDMI cable as well
