The Three Steps to Teaching a Procedure
1. TEACH
Clearly define the classroom procedures and routines; state,
explain, demonstrate and model the procedure.
2. REHEARSE
Practice the procedure under your supervision.
3. REINFORCE
Reteach, rehearse, practice and reinforce the procedure until it
becomes a student habit or routine.
Consistency refers to a classroom environment that is predictable. There is no yelling or screaming at the students because they know how the classroom functions and is organized.X
