Corp. Six different formulations are available, and all are economical, en- vironmentally friendly alternatives to CFC and other hazardous solvent- based cleaning chemicals. Formulated for a variety of cleaning applications, Aquavert products serve as replace- ments for chlorinated or fluorinated chemicals used in vapor degreasing. All products are safe to use, economi- cal, and are tailored to various cleaning conditions and substrates.

Thermal Oxidizer E Products Inc. Vadnas Heights, Minn.

E Products Inc. has announced the availability of its new generation of Venturi thermal oxidizers and ground flares that increase oxidation rates of a wider range of contaminants while cut- ting fuel costs by approximately 30%. At the core of this new thermal oxi- dizer design is the E Products Venturi Burner, which optimizes the mixture of fuel, combustion air, and fume stream, resulting in complete combustion. To maximize contaminant destruction ef-

ficiency, the fume stream can be intro- duced to the burner as either fuel or combustion air, depending on lower explosive limit (LEL) concentrations. This unique design allows the thermal oxidizers and enclosed ground flares to operate above, below, and through the LEL-without an LEL monitor. Op- tional heat recovery, as high as 90%, further emphasizes the design efficien- cies of E Products thermal oxidizers.

Conductivity Measurement Sys- tem George Fischer Inc. Win, CaM.

Precise control of conductivity, tem- perature, and percent rejection in a wide range of applications is offered by the Signet Conductivity Measure- ment System. Featuring the modular design and easy-function programming of the popular Intelek-Pro series of controllers, the conductivity measure- ment system includes well-known in- sertion sensor technology, which takes the guesswork out of process measure- ment. The microprocessor-based, dual- channel Signet 9050 Conductivity Controller provides for two indepen- dent sensor inputs with temperature

compensation. Plug-in circuit cards are used to interchange outputs to a spe- cific system configuration as well as add control functions as system re- quirements increase. Field-config- urable output options include up to four 5-A relays for on/off alarm or proportional pulse operation, and one or two analog outputs of 4-20 mA, O-20 mA, O-5 VDC, and O-10 VDC. All functions are accessed and pro- grammed from the front panel. A menu-driven program guides the oper- ator through calibration and setpoint adjustment. The controller’s case has been thoroughly tested at enviromnen- tal extremes while maintaining a NEMA 4X rating for both indoor and outdoor applications.
