If you are a registered voter in Cleburne County and you want to choose a new polling place, you must visit the Board of Registrars office at least 10 days before the election. Be prepared to show your identification. You do not have to visit the Board of Registrars office if you do not want to change polling places and your voter registration information such as your name or address has not changed since the last election. Cleburne County experienced a six percent growth from the 2000 Census (pop. 14,123) to the 2010 Census (pop. 14,972). In addition to the growth, the county’s population shiſted to Districts 2 and 3. To bring Cleburne County into compliance with the U.S. Department of Justice regulations, district boundaries were adjusted to balance the populations within each district and the 2012 Election Map was created. Cleburne County voters elect county commissioners and school board members by district. e County School Board also has one at-large member.
