The sporty Honda MB50z immediately became popular for its sporty design. Its 49cc air-cooled, 2-stroke, single-cylinder engine produced 7hp and was equipped with a bell-shaped combustion chamber to ensure stable combustion through all speeds. The bike featured a unique cross line backbone frame structure as well as Honda’s distinctive Com-Star wheels. With its simple construction and sporty mechanism, the MB50z garnered a large fan base during the 1980s. The Tamiya 1/6 scale model is faithful in every way to the life size subject. Kit features distinctive Com-Star wheels, coil springs for rear suspension movement, synthetic rubber tires, vinyl tubing, steerable front fork, and two sets of decals.

Designed as a civilian vehicle, but plans were soon made for a military version. Improved model “Type 82” went into mass production in 1940 with a reliable, 4-cylinder, 23.5hp engine which provided a top speed of 80km/h. Over 50,000 produced by wars end. From the searing heat of North Africa to the blistering cold of Russian, the Kubelwagen Type 82 was used for recon and communications. Kit features semi-pneumatic rubber tires, open/closed doors and engine room cover, full 4-cylinder engine, hood up/down, with/w/o window frames, driver figure, and four marking options.

Equipped with a gearbox mated to an electric motor for realistic runs. Tough aluminum alloy chassis and metal parts for drive sprockets, idler wheels, suspension parts, and more to take on the terrain and keep rolling on! The chief new feature of the Paladin variant of the M109 was its ability to fire, move, and be ready to fire again in 30 seconds. That kind of mobility reduces the effectiveness of counterbattery fire and improves the survivability of the vehicle. America used the Paladin for fire support throughout the Iraq War. The vehicle that earned Rommel’s trust in the searing African desert! Because of its reliability and ease of repair, and since its engine did not require coolant, the Kubelwagen was particularly effective in North Africa. Divisions in North Africa requested a vehicle suitable for the desert and a Continental balloon tire version went into production from 1942. Two types of balloon tires, a grooved and an un-grooved version were used. The Tamiya model depicts all the fine details of the Kubelwagen.
