Bees travel from flower to flower, gathering nectar and collecting pollen. Sometimes the pollen that is stickingsticking to
the bee from one flower, stickssticks to the pistil of
another flower.
Bees gather NECTAR--a mixture of water, sugar,and other nutrients made by flowers.
Bees also collect pollen--a yellowish orreddish powder made by the male part
of the flower called the stamen!

Pollen can be moved from flower toflower with the wind, in water, attached
to birds and insects.
On average, one bee will travelto over 1,000 flowers each day!!!
Many plants would not be able to make seedsunless bees pollinated their flowers.
Bees pollinate manycrops that give us food!
