All programs related to CMS have been tested under a single task environment; therefore if multiple tasks are run simultaneously, unexpected error may occur. Moreover, the program may malfunction if inappropriate codecs have been installed on the PC. CMS may not run if DirectX 6.0 or earlier version is installed. Please download the latest Direct X from Microsoft. 2. HOW TO INSTALL (1) Insert Client Install CDto CD-ROM of your PC and Find “DvrPlayerinstaller.exe” and double click . INSTALLATION

1. PC system requirement

If the PC does not meet the minimum system requirement, the CMS program may not function properly. (1) Insert “Client Install CD” to CD-ROM of your PC and Find

“DvrPlayerinstaller.exe” and double click . (2) Click 「NEXT」 button below:

(3) Click 「Install」. Otherwise, designate a directory for Install then Click “Install”.

(4) Click 「Close」Button after below images appears.

(5) The ICON of CMS will be displayed on your desktop.

(6) Double click the ICON to start, enter the password to access.

* Enter “0” as the default password. Refer to CMS Setup to change the password.

2. Set List Manager

- Set List Manger is mainly used to add or delete DVR on CMS. Click button to start the Set List Manager.

(1) Set name

Enter any name (2) IP: Enter the DVR IP address or DNS name E.g.: Set to 203.125.56.231 or J5043E9.dvrhost.com (3) Port: Set to 7000 (4) Password: 000000 (Default) (5) Click on “ADD TO LIST” (6) Click OK Right click on the ICON, select “LIVE” to start viewing.

Remote Playback 1. Click on the “PB” button to playback any DVR recording.

2. Click on the “SEARCH” button to start data search.

3. Select the appropriate DVR to begin a search.

4.1. Choose the desired date on the calendar highlighted in yellow (i.e. recorded data available).

4.2 Then select the desired time in hour & minute by clicking on the respective time bar.

4.3 Click on the “PLAY” button the playback the selected recording. 4.4 One can also click & hold to select a range of hours to playback.

Backup remotely to local PC 1. Click on the “PB” button to display the playback screen. 2. Select the appropriate DVR & click on the search button to choose the desired recording to be backup. 3. Click & hold to highlight a duration to backup.

4. Click the “DOWNLOAD” button to backup the data to the PC.

5. After the data is saved, one can perform the playback as local instead of remote.

6. The recording can then be saved as a cms file format & be played back using the MCD player application.

DVR DNS Setup 1. Open up the website: www.dvrstation.com 2. Sign up a new user account using email address. 3. Log in using the created ID

4. Click on Member & the DOS screen should appear.

5. If the above screen does not appear, activeX needs to be installed. To allow ActiveX installation, click on “Tools” on the IE taskbar & select “Internet options” 6. Choose the “Security” option.

7. Select “Custom Level”

8. Enable the first 3 options for Active X control & click on OK to save. 9. Refresh the browser & click on “Member”. 10. Click on “Do you wish to run?” to start the DVR client.

11. Click on the icon on the lower right corner to add DVR. 12. Enter the required set name, IP, port & password. The IP name is in a format such as: J5043E9.dvrhost.com (i.e. def port: 7000 & password: 000000) whereby Jxxxxxx is a unique serial number that can be check in the DVR info screen. 13. Click on “Add to list” to add the DVR. 14. Right click on the DVR icon below & choose “Live” to play DVR.

15. Right click on the DVR icon below & choose “Setup” to change DVR setting. 16. Red icon shows active camera. 17. Close the browser to exit. Note: Port forwarding to the DVR port (e.g. 7000) need to be enabled on the router.
