Procedures and Tests • Adheres to time allocation of procedure clinic bookings so patient

• Electrocardiography (ECG) tests • Exercise ECGs (bicycle or treadmill) • Fitting, removal, analyzing and processing of
data for Holter, Event and Blood Pressure monitoring.
• ETT supervision • Cardiovascular Unit** – cardiac monitoring and
MRT role, including right heart studies and IABP.
• Training of staff • Pacemaker Implants, assessment, management
and routine follow up. • ICD implants, assessment, management and
routine follow up • Contributes to the data which is available to demonstrate accuracy of
calculations, reproducibility/validation and trends. • Has a shared responsibility with the cardiac physiology team to see
that equipment is maintained in good working order with documentation of preventative maintenance and electrical safety testing episodes.
• Refers to flowcharts for equipment fault finding, detection and repair of minor malfunctions and notifies appropriate personnel when equipment fails and/or requires further repair.
