The Client needed to augment their IT staff with a developer partner that could not only provide the scale and expertise to support these several Enterprise systems, but also have the vital capability to interface with Executive Management.

The Client initiated their relationship with CloudSmartz in October 2014 with an initial assignment to complete several critical enhancements to a Global Project Management Application (GPMA).

The organization had experienced a high turnover with their internal assigned developer staff assigned to support GPMA, and little intellectual property on the system was available to CloudSmartz.

GPMA was also internally developed within six (6) disparate environments with little development continuity of the past several years’ upgrade releases. In addition there was a significant delta between the feature-functionality between the GPMA Stage and GPMA Production environments which created a significant challenge when releasing enhancement upgrades.

ResultsCloudSmartz developed a roadmap to first stabilize the GPMA application and create a single development environment as well as complete an update of the .Net platform and completing several enhancement requests that had been outstanding for several months.

At the successful completion of the GPMA project, CloudSmartz was asked to support several additional Enterprise systems as well as participate in the creation of several new solutions which were deployed to the many business divisions within the Client.

Since 2014, we have supported over 25 application development projects - One mobile application developed by CloudSmartz for the Client is currently used by a population of over 20,000 inspectors worldwide.
