Creston softball seniors Saige Rice, left, and Brielle Baker present gifts to outgoing activi-ties director Jeff Bevins between games against Atlantic Thursday night. Also shown are Panther assistant coach Teri Keeler and head coach Mike McCabe. Bevins, the school’s activities director for 15 years, will become the school’s I-JAG teacher. “When you think of our coach-ing staff, my fellow administrators and the sponsors of speech and music and all of those things, it’s a really good situation here. I’ve never worked with a better group of people in my 38 years in education. And the volunteers in every sport are always there. You never have to worry about having enough help here.”
