Operation recommendation for charger: Connectthechargertothepowerportofthemobilephone.Oncethebatterysymbolstartsflashing,thephonestartscharging.

3.1 INSERTING THE SIM-CARD

Thesimcardcontainsyourpersonalinformation,suchasyourphonenumber,yourPIN(personalidentificationnumber),PIN2,PUK(PIN2releasecode),PUK2(PIN2releasecode)andtheIMSInumber(Internationalmobileuseridentification)aswellasnetworkinformation,addressbook,textmessages,etc.

» Thesimcardslotisinsidethephone.Ifyouwanttoinsertthesimcard,opentheback cover,removethebattery,turnthephoneonthebackandthenyouwillseethesim cardslot.» Carefullyplacethesimcardwiththemetalcontactsurfacefacingdownintothecard compartmentandsecureit.Toremovethesimcard,pleaseturnoffthephonefirst,then openthebackcoverandthenremovethesimcard.» Openthebackcover,removethebatteryandplacethesimcardintothesimcardslot.» Pleasehandlethesimcardwithcare.Rubbingandbendingcaneasilycausedamage thesimcard.» Pleasebecarefulwiththemobilephoneanditsaccessories(e.g.,simcardparts)and keepitoutofreachofchildren.

3.2 INSERTING THE MEMORY CARD (MICROSD CARD)

Thisoneislocatedinsidethephoneandbestdescribedasapluggablemobilememorycard.WhentheUSBmemoryfunctionisactivatedonthephoneandthecomputerisconnected,thedatacanbetransferredfromthecomputertothemobilephoneviaamicroSDcard.

INSTALLATION METHODS

Turnthephoneoff,openthebackcover,removethebattery,anddisconnectitfromanyexternalpowersupply.Then,turnthephoneonthebacktolocatethememorycardslot.Rotatethememorycardwiththemetalcontactfacedown.Carefullyinsertthecardintothetrayandsecureit.Youmustfirstturnoffthephoneandopenthephone‘sbackcovertoremovethememorycard.

REMARK:Becausethestoragecapacityofthephonememoryislower,youshoulduseamemorycardtostoreyourdatasothattheuseofyourphoneisnotimpaired.

3.3 USAGE OF USB

ThemobilephonesupportsaUSB1.0port.YoucanconnectthephonetothecomputerusingaUSBcabletocopy/movedataandperformotheroperations.Likewise,youcanview/listentophotos,soundrecordings,videos,etc.storedonthephoneonthecomputer.UsingtheUSBcable:ConnecttheUSBcabletotheUSBportofthePCononesideandtheothersidetothe„USB/Chargeport“ontheleftsideofthephone.

3.4 USING THE SECURITY PASSWORD

Yourmobilephoneandsimcardhavevariouspasswords.Thesepasswordscanhelpyoupreventunauthorizeduseofyourmobilephoneandyoursimcards.Ifyouarepromptedforpasswordsthatareexplainedbelow,entertheappropriatepasswordsandpresstheOKkey.Ifanerrormessageappears,press„Delete“tocorrecttheincorrectinputandthenenterthecorrectnumber.Usethe„Settings->Securitysettings->Changepassword“menutochangePINcode,PIN2codeandtelephonepassword.

PHONE PASSWORD

Thephonepasswordprotectsthephonefromunauthorizeduse.Thephonepasswordisusuallysuppliedbythemanufactureralongwiththephone.Themanufacturer‘sdefaultphonepasswordis„1122“.Ifthemobilephoneislocked,youmustenterthetelephonepasswordtostartitup.

PIN CODE
