The camp­site offers a lot of activitiesTenniscourt, miniature golf, boccia, bouncing cushions, outdoor swimmingpool, multicourt, MTB course in the forest, nature workshop with our own natureguide, fishing lake with boat hiring out and a lot of walks that takes you to the Chalk Cliffs of Moen. An El Dorado for both children as well as adults. Every piece of chalk, every stone could contain traces of the tropical ocean, that was here 75 million years ago. It’s exciting to play freetime geologist in the new great slide just close to the camp-site. In the main season there are activities for the children every day.

In the middle of the island, there is a 18 hole golfcourse and the great attraction: Geocenter Møns Klint/Chalk cliffs of Moen, that can tell about the birth of Denmark.

The Manor of Klintholm has a long cultural history over the last 200 years and has influenced the whole eastern part of Møn and therefore gave the campground its unique location back in 1950. Camping Møns Klint is one of Denmark’s most beautiful campsites, set in the very hinterland of the sheer cliffs of Moen. The campsite is laid out naturally on the undulating ground with many terraces and

natural fences which create unique possibilities for our guests to get the freedom and room most people highly appreciate.

On your arrival to the camp site you have the possibility to take part yourself when choosing your own space. The camp-site has not been split up into bays, but the spaces have been naturally fitted into the ground. There are many areas in the campsite which are quite unique for both caravans and tents. For campers either by car or on bicycle we can offer the finest pitches, in the middle of the countryside. Peace, quiet and no long distance to facilities.

It is like we sometimes believe that out there in the big world we can really explore nature and its wonders. The pavilion, cabins, school camp cabins, holiday and country houses and the lighthouse cabinMøns Klint Resort offers lots of opportunities for renting cabins, hoilday and country houses. In close proximity to the campsite lies the pavilion and the fishing cabin. We dispose over 11 cabins with their own toilet and shower beautifully placed in the terrain on the campsite. Stengården, our ”concept farm” is located just by the southern part of the forest, and the lighthouse cabin lies just on the edge of the cliffs next to the old lighthouse. Lodge Sandet is located in total solitude in a huge natural resort for birds, and is only 800 from a good beach. Barrier To ensure peace and quiet on the site during night hours the barrier will be down between 11:00 pm and 07:00 am during the season. If you are to leave early in the morning, park your car outside. Please also ask any visitors of yours to park outside the barrier.

Showers At the reception you may buy a magnetic card for showers, etc.

Dog forrest. A paradise for the dogs with both waterhole and wilderness where the dogs can play without the leash. It is a wonderfull area, but as well humans as well as their dogs must remember that staying in the area is on one’s own responsability.

Dogs Dogs must be kept in a line inside of the camp-ground and outside. You can let your dog run free in our dogforest.

Laundry At the reception you may also buy magnetic cards for the washing machine and tumbler.

Childrens room In the big servicebuilding there is a childrens room with toilets and bath for the young ones. This service is free of charge.

Baby room In the big servicebuilding there is a baby room with toilet and bath. This service is free of charge.

Drying cabinets In laundry room you will find 2 drying cabinates free of use.

Infomats Outside the shower buildings are infomats where you’ll see how much money is left on your card together with possible messages.

Telephone A shower magnetic card-operated phone at the upper lavatory building. Use your shower card.

Visitors Visitors are requested to buy an admission ticket to enter the campsite; in return they may use all facilities including the pool.

Swimming pool 25 x 10 m with separate children’s pool. Open ultimo June until ultimo August.

Tennis Tennis court available. Make your booking at the reception; charge: DKK 50.-/hour.

Multiground We have a new nice Multiground, just come on and try it out. Footballs can be borrowed in the reception.

Golf There is an 18 hole golfcourse in the middle of the island and the drivingrange gives you the possibility to try the game. We give 10% discount on the greenfee.

Table tennis Borrow bats and buy balls at the reception.

Kayak sailing Experience the Chalk Cliffs in all the glory – a trip in a sea kayak is the ultimate way to enjoy the Chalk Cliffs. The impressions are flowing while the kayak is shooting through the water. Both for beginners and expe rienced. Get more information in the reception.

Boccia Next to the minigolf course we have laid out a boccia area. Borrow balls at the reception.

Playground Including, among other playthings, two children’s trampolines.

Activities During the season various free activities are arranged, especially for children and their parents. These may be ball games, walks, bird excursions, star-gazing, etc. See notices at the reception. Nature Workshop. Here can everybody, both children as well as adults, learn more about nature.

Internet On the Campsite there is different ways to connect to the internet. Please ask and pay for the code in the reception.

Angling Angling is possible in the nearby Hunosø, a woodland lake. Buy a one-day licence at the reception at DKK 50,-. It is possible to rent a boat for fishing/ relaxing. DKK 50,- pr. hour. Along Møn’s coastline is a unique trout fishing. We have our own fishing guide.Meet Ken in his fishinghut at the entrance, or learn more about it in the reception.

Lake on the site Children are welcome to fishing in the lake for free.

Horsefolds The Campsite has 3 horsefolds, if you wish to bring your horses.

Waste and recycling There are 3 stations, at the information, close to the pool and on the other side.

Activities and possibilities at Møns Klint Resort

Liselund Romantic castle and park dating from 1792, one of Denmark’s architectural gems.

Restaurants/Dining There are many places to eat on the island to suit any taste. Some of them are Liselund, Hyttefadet, Portofino, Røgeriet, Præstekilde Inn & Hotel, Støberiet, Davids, Bryghuset and Frederik d. 5.

Bench of Reflection On the camp site we have a thinking bench. ”Thinking bench”, because it is not only ment to enjoy the view, but might be inspiration to find inner peace and maybe think about life as con-trast to a stressed everyday. There is a sign on the bench with an inscription that inspires to think further There are total 25 thinking benches on Moen with diffe-rent inscriptions. There are 4 other benches nearby the camp site – try to find them. Or ask in the reception.

MTB Try the toughest and coolest mountainbike route in Denmark. The route is close to the Campground. More info at the reception.

Nearby Camping Møns Klint

There is only 3 km through the forest to the topattrac­tion GeoCenter Møns Klint, i.a. with 3D cinema. Within an hours drive of the site lies other top-attraction worth a visit. The Castlecenter in Vordingborg, the Labyrinth Park, Knuthenborg safaripark and the crazy BonBon Land.

Nature Play Ground 200 meters towards the Store Klint, along the sand road, you will find a big nature playground. Your kids will love it.

Riding Nearby is a riding pension offering rides with a guide. Booking at office.

Boattrips Everyday during the highseason a pleasureboat will leave for Møns Klint. A beautiful way to see the cliffs of Møn. Booking at reception

Bathing beaches At Klintholm Havn (3 km) there are fine beaches on both sides of the harbour. The west side is preferable to families with small children while, on the east side, there are ideal windsurfing opportunities.

Walks There are marked paths all over the Klinteskov for-rest, and you decide for yourself the length of your walk. The Park forrest and Castle of Liselund, Mandemarke hills and Høvblege are just a few of many recommendable spots.

Geology Everywhere you look you see the terrain made by the kilometer high glaciers of the ice age. On the beach you are overwhelmed by the 100 meter high white Chalk Cliffs. In the waterline it is possible to find fossils as proof of pre historic animal life. You can buy a folder about fos-sils on the camp site.

Archaeology Spread over the entire island you’ll find many relics of the past. The best known of them are the passage graves Kong Asgers Høj and Klekkendehøj on western Møn.

Botany Jydelejet and Høvblege are some of the most well known areas in Denmark with lots of orchids and other rare plant areas in Denmark. You can buy a folder about the 18 orchid species on the camp site.

Churches Møn is famous for its many churches with murals, e.g. Elmelunde, Keldby and Fanefjord.

Smokery In Klintholm Havn a smokery serves fresh smoked food on the terrace.

Arts and Crafts Møn abounds in artists crafts people of all categories. The reception has folders of most of them.

REGULATIONS:Dogs must be kept on leads. Please walk your dog on the campsite boundaries. Use of motorised bicycles is prohibited on the site. Make sure your radio and TV will not disturb your fellow campers.

If it is rainy weather find your umbrella and let the reception staff advise you on what to do on Møn on a rainy day. You’ll be surprised at the wide choice.

The tourist agency in Stege is also ready to suggest activities.
