While based in the Middle East, he travelled extensively around Asia, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the cultures and business needs of markets that have benefited from a rapid growth in golf.

Ian TimberlakeIan is Colt Mackenzie McNair’s Principal Consultant for Europe. With more than 15 years’ experience in the golf industry, ranging from

tournament promotion to corporate golf management, via a senior role at the La Manga Club, Spain, Ian is a well-known and popular golf business professional. A serial networker with one of the best contacts books in golf, Ian joined Colt Mackenzie McNair in 2007 and is a key member of CMM’s Executive Search team.

Douglas PhilipDouglas is Head of Research. He has a human resource management degree from Stirling University, Scotland, and is responsible for

building a global talent pool from within the leisure and hospitality industries. He and his team are also responsible for pinpointing talent from outside of these industries, in particular identifying rising stars with transferable skills.

Ryan McKinniaSenior Consultant Ryan has a business and marketing degree from Bristol University and significant golf industry experience across

many functions including sales, food and beverage and day-to-day golf club operations. Ryan has worked at two of the Home Counties’ premium golf clubs, Worplesdon and Queenwood.

Tim OrgillTim heads up Colt Mackenzie McNair’s office in Hong Kong and is Principal Consultant for Asia. With over seventeen years experience in

event management and operations management, Tim offers a wealth of working knowledge in implementing and delivering sports and non-sporting events as well as sponsorship management and delivery.

Tim graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy. He has worked for the Asian Tour as well as the European Tour in event operations and television. Tim has managed and run over thirty five professional golf events throughout Asia and Europe.

Biddy Lloyd JonesBiddy is Head of Consultative Services at Colt Mackenzie McNair. She is an experienced development consultant with a distinguished

career in her field. She has worked in the private, SME and public sector, with companies such as Easyjet, BDO Stoy Hayward, London Underground, UK Atomic Energy Authority, NHS, Izodia, The Serpentine Gallery and Qatar Airways.

Biddy’s area of expertise is enhancing the success of businesses through the effectiveness of its leaders, by coaching and developing individuals and teams responsible for its future success. She focuses on behavioural and culture change, management development and dynamic working relationships.

David JuliusDavid is a member of Colt Mackenzie McNair’s Advisory Board and acts as a Senior Consultant on the global platform. David has spent more

than 35 years in the commercial property sector and was previously a Partner in one of London’s leading West End agencies, D E & J Levy. When David left the business, aged 40, he became a consultant to the practice and simultaneously launched his own commercial property investment company. He also diversified into a highly successful tourist related retail business in London’s West End, which he subsequently sold.
