The indicative mood is used to speak about acts, certainty, reality.
We have studied all the indicative tenses:
Present I dance. I am dancing. I do dance
Imperfect I was dancing. I used to dance.
Preterite I danced a lot last night.
Future I will dance the Tango in Argentina.
Conditional I would dance if I went to the Prom.
Present Perfect I have danced my heart out!
Past Perfect I had danced for 3 hours when the music stopped.
Future Perfect I will have danced with everyone before I leave.
Conditional Perfect I would have danced if my shoes were
comforatble.

The subjunctive mood expresses
doubt, desires, uncertainty,
unrealistic things, things contrary to reality.
I doubt that he will come to see us.
I really want him to go to the dance.
It is uncertain whether the boys will finish on
time.
That does not mean that he doesn’t love you.

Without exception: the imperfect subjunctive is formed by dropping the –ron from the 3rd person plural preterite and adding either one of the following sets of endings:
-ra -´ramos -se -´semos
-ras -rais -ses -seis
-ra -ran -se -sen
All irregulars in the preterite will show the same irregularities in the imperfect subjunctive:

A noun clause has the same function as a noun.
Quiero pan. I want bread.
Quiero que me ayudes. I want you to help me.
Both pan and que me ayudes have the same function in
the sentence, that of direct object of the main verb; que
me ayudes is called a noun clause because it behaves
like a noun.
