@ CMS
We address the challenges brought about by ongoing and fundamental changes in the technologies and practices of media production, distribution, and consumption. Rather than focus on medium-specific silos, we explore the dynamics of media change through a comparative, historical, and multidisciplinary lens.

@ CMS
trans-media (computational media, the book, games, computational media, film & video, etc.)
trans-historical (across historical periods, particularly those marked by media change)
trans-cultural (seeking cultural variations in media deployment, organization and use)
trans-disciplinary (drawing on theories and methods from the humanities, social & computational sciences)
