Revised 4-1-16

CNA-2 PROGRAM

Caregiver Training Institute, LLC is excited to offer the new OSBN-approved CNA-2 program. As of July 1, 2015 the OSBN revised the CNA-2 training to combine Acute Care, Dementia Care and Restorative Care, plus core competencies, into one comprehensive training program that includes all aspects of the CNA-2 role in a variety of work settings. The new revised CNA-2 training program expands upon the NA-1 program training program, delving in more depth into Dementia Care and Restorative Care and the technical skills required of employees in the hospital setting. The course consists of a total of 88 hours: 60 hours in class and lab and 28 hours in the clinical setting. Students will be actively involved in the classroom, lab and clinical rotation during the program.

Course Options The course is offered with Day and Evening schedules.

Program Costs The tuition for the CNA-2 Program is $990. The program includes the class, labs and clinical. Other program costs include the course workbook, the OSBN required criminal background check, and the OHA required substance abuse screening which are provided through the school. Additional costs vary depending upon student’s needs and may include items such as: uniforms, school supplies, equipment, CPR certification, and TB testing. A payment plan is offered for the convenience of CNA-2 Program students.

During the information session, interested students submit a student profile and complete preliminary registration paperwork.

Enrollment: Registration will be finalized at the school business office. Students must complete an Information Session and all enrollment paperwork must be completed, signed and received by the school business office five (5) business days prior to the first day of class. Students must select a Class/Lab/Clinical Schedule at this time.

Payment: A payment for a minimum of half of the tuition will reserve a student’s seat in their preferred class.
