Dear Parents,
As the academic year draws to an end, we are delighted to be writing to you to introduce the Michaelmas Term booklet of Co-Curricular Activities. It has been an absolute delight to see our array of events increase in diversity and popularity. As ever, a great deal of care and thought has gone into planning this term’s programme and I hope that as you read through this booklet you will be equally excited about them.
This term’s activities have been planned in close consultation with the Housestaff, Year Reps and Seniors and include many exciting trips off site as well as a good range of onsite events, including exciting House Team Building, plenty of Socials, trips into London and the horrific Thorpe Park Fright Night! Please do take this opportunity to have a look through this programme together.
Sign up to these events can be done either in House in the weeks leading up to the event or in advance online through your Parent Zone account on the Extranet. Please find step-by-step instructions for this on the back page of this booklet.
As ever, we have strived to keep the cost of the majority of these activities down to a minimum but as you will notice, a few of the larger events cost more than £25. Your daughter will be able to sign up for events costing £25 or less on a week-by-week basis in House. However, if you do not wish your daughter to have this option, then please confirm this in section 4, “Opt Out of House Sign-Up” on the online booking form.
The list of events contained in this booklet may be added to throughout the course of the term. Some of these additional activities may incur a charge and we will, of course, advise you of the cost involved and if necessary, seek your agreement.
We are constantly working to widen the scope of our weekend activities and events. If you have any suggestions that you would like to see included in future weekend programmes, we would be delighted to hear from you.
With best wishes,
Co-Curricular Activitives DepartmentDirect Line: 01635 [email protected]
