In HBR’s 2019 list, Satya Nadella is recognized as one of the world’s 10 best leaders. The top
leaders were ranked not only on financial performance, but also on environmental, social and
governance aspects – a far more complete view of leaders and the impact that they create.
An evolved leader like Satya Nadella, who has tripled the share value of Microsoft and made it
once again a force to reckon with, spent years being groomed to take on the mantle of
leadership. His success comes from a holistic developmental journey. Delving into leadership
literature, having a coach, taking on challenging assignments and focusing on personal growth
are some of the steps that Satya took.

This 1-year program, from May 2020 to February 2021, is ideal for Function leaders and Business
heads who have embarked on their CXO journey. The Leadership Accelerator would have a cohort
of 20 participants coming together from diverse industries.
W H O I S T H E P R O G R A M F O R ?
A 1-year long multi-modal program to create an impactful and inclusive leader. The design includes
8 days of facilitated sessions, 6 personalized coaching sessions and 12 webinars. The Leadership
Accelerator touches the heart of leadership- the leader themselves. Bringing the best of international
faculty and thought leaders, the program is an inside-out approach to leadership impact.
The 2019 research conducted by Hunt Partners and CCL, found that the Indian CXO devotes 60% of
time to 3 goals to have an impact on the organization:

It is significant that the 3 goals are all developmental journeys involving the self and people.
Leadership today is approached with a growth mindset, and organizations prefer the “build”

role model, are at the key to authentic leadership.

The focus is on Authentic Leadership, working with each leader to recognize the
values and purpose- their River of Life. The cohort gets in touch with their inner
world, implicit patterns and mindsets.
CAPSULE I - LEADING SELF ( 20TH & 21ST MAY 2020)
Managing a multi-generational workforce is a reality for all leaders today.
This capsule enables participants to examine their openness to diverse
views and the ability to take teams along as they make decisions.
CAPSULE II - INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP ( 18TH & 19TH SEPTEMBER 2020)
The group discovers the critical part they will need to play in driving and
managing change. The role of emotions, empowering and creating champions,
role modelling are the highlights of this capsule.
CAPSULE III - LEADING THROUGH CHANGE ( 19TH & 20TH NOVEMBER 2020)
Building an organizational culture that sustains productive teams across
geographies are all in a day’s work today. This capsule delves into the
connectedness that the leaders have with their teams and the role that they
play in shaping the ecosystem.
CAPSULE IV - LEADING PEOPLE (18TH & 19TH FEBRUARY 2021)
1. LEADERSHIP ASSESSMENT: The Hogan assessment is taken online by each leader
The report identifies strengths, motives, values, and possible behavior under stress. The Hogan
report and the Individual Developmental Plan become a starting point of the leadership journey.

Rahoul is a specialist in deep personal work with leaders and will get
the cohort in touch with their personal purpose and leadership vision.
He is an adjunct faculty at IIM-Ahmedabad and IIM-Indore, and a
facilitator at TISS Mumbai.

Mette’s expertise is Authentic leadership – the leader who we follow not
because of their position, wealth or title – but because we are inspired to
follow them.
Mette Johansson is a triple author, keynote speaker, entrepreneur and a
recipient of the Asian Women Icon Award. Born in Denmark, she has lived

4. WEBINARS: 12 webinars with internationally acclaimed thought leaders
The 90- minute webinars are live interactive sessions, with 3 webinars each focusing on the topic of
the Quarter. The entire 12-webinar series has the group interacting live with acclaimed authors,
leadership gurus and accomplished leaders from all over the world. The cohort could listen, discuss,
share challenges and learn from each other through these monthly webinars. The most current
literature in the field is provided ahead of the webinars that are scheduled every month.
3. COACHING: 6 Coaching sessions with a personal leadership coach
Specific areas are identified for the leader’s growth through the Individual Development
Plan. Managers and HR leaders from the organization are involved at the outset - to share
the organizational view. Over a period of 6 months, the coach partners the leader to meet
these objectives.

RAHOUL JOSHI(Capsule I- Leading Self)
Gagan’s work embraces the most challenging aspect of leadership today-
to anchor transformation processes in complex systems. Leading systems
requires the ability to discern and acknowledge one’s own mental
models, and subjective experiences of systems. Gagan enables leaders to
introspect and challenge systems that are deeply coded within.GAGANDEEP SINGH(Capsule IV- Leading People)
Lalit Jagtiani is an author of the book “When Change Happens”. He has
guided organizations like SAP through business transformation. Passing
on his mantra for leading effective change has become a mission for Lalit
and he will enable the cohort to do the same in their organizations.
Paddy is coach to Olympians, cricketers, sports people from every game
and the author of several books including “The Barefoot Coach.” Paddy’s
creative methods, mental conditioning and coaching have extended to
executives and he will share with the cohort perspectives on winning,
preparation, failure and resolving life’s tangled knots.

Jagdish has led organizations as a CEO in Telecom and Retail and
brings an understanding of Indian and international markets. Creating
a bench of future leaders and shaping organizational culture will be the

L’aura lives in Pondicherry and works extensively with leaders on resolution,
decision making and justice, using the principles of non-violent
communication. Her work has taken her across the world and included

Two happy people, Urvashi and Suva, are the anchors for Leadership Accelerator. They are both
leadership coaches and will support the cohort throughout the year.

Urvashi is a psychologist and enjoys her work coaching teams and
organization building. She has been a part of the Coach Kompass team
that has curated the Leadership Accelerator.
Suva: As a coach, Suva is known for his unique style. A voracious reader with
a remarkable memory for everything he reads, Suva is a great resource for
the cohort on any topic that they may be curious about.
