EXPLORATION DEPARTMENT


❑ Collaboration protocol agreement was signed between Turkish Petroleum and Turkish Hardcoal Enterprises in October 2018.

• According to the agreement Turkish Hardcoal Enterprises will provide required data and exploration and production rights in their license area.

• Turkish Petroleum will act as the consultant for the exploration, drilling and production phase of the project.

❑ Another Collaboration protocol agreement was signed between Turkish International Company and Turkish Hardcoal Enterprises in October 2018.

• Based on the agreement Turkish International Company will be responsible for drilling operations.

❑ Data Collection

• The comprehensive research was done about reservoir properties of CBM Basins around the World.

• Review of CBM studies conducted in Turkey from 1970’s to 2019 by several researchers.

• Reports and maps from the Mineral Research and Exploration Institute database was utilized.
