Pony Club Grades 1 to 5 and equivalent for Open Grades Riders are eligible to compete in H/T, C/T & SC

Riders must be 8 years and over to compete in H/T & SC Riders under the age of 8 years must be graded to compete in the C/T.

Super Cross Grades 3-5 Only Prizes: * Gold Plated Horse Shoe Trophy & Rug for 1st & sashes to 6th place in Pony Club Horse Trials Classes * Trophy Rug for 1st Place & sashes to 6th place in Open Horse Trials Classes

*Sashes and prizes for Combined Training and Super Cross

Limited Yards are available - Yards $10.00 each

Overnight Camping Available Due to limited parking all overnight yards must be packed up by 7am

Entering this completion constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.

RULES: to be run under PCAV Horse Trials Effective 1

SUPER CROSS Rules as per Horses Trials Rule Book 2017 RESERVATION OF RIGHTS-The Organising Committee reserves the right; (a)To Cancel any class or event (b)To Divide any class (c) to alter advertised times (d) To refuse any entry with or without stating the reason No refunds after closing date except with a vet or medical certificate. An Administration Fee of $10.00 will be deducted.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY -Neither the organising committee of this event nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, injury or illness to horses, rider, ground spectator or any other person or property.

MEDICAL ARMBANDS are compulsory for ALL riders in All Phases- NO exceptions.

HELMETS - correct standard numbered helmets must be worn as specified in the 2017 PCAV gear rules. Spot checks of helmets may occur; Riders without correct helmets will be eliminated.

GEAR CHECK: is required before riding in each discipline of the competition. LUNGING: Lunging is permitted in the round yard area .Only the competitor may ride or lunge their horse or pony. The penalty

for disobeying this rule will result in elimination.

PCAV Club Member Cards: For pony club members, PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the event office before

riding. Both the 2016/2017 and the 2017/2018 cards must be produced.

COMPETITOR NUMBERS: The Organising Committee will pre allocate and advise numbers, body numbers will be supplied and must be worn for all phases of the competition.

DOGS are prohibited without exception.

HORSES must be at least 4 years of age, no stallions, colts or rigs. OPEN RIDERS: All participants (including Pony Club members) in Open Competition must sign a Public Liability Declaration Form. Participants in events organized by PCAV Clubs, who are not current financial members of a PCAV Club, or who do not have any other approved insurance in place, are deemed to be 'Day Participants' of the event/activity on completion of the Day Participant Waiver.

Participants must provide proof of current membership or Insurance cover to avoid paying the $10 per day Day Participant Fee (*EA must be a direct member, not just a member of an EA affiliated Club) Riders without adequate Insurance Liability cover must complete and pay $10 per day fee.

Protection is afforded to the Day Participant under the PCAV Public Liability policy, only whilst participating in activities organized and/or run by the PCAV club at that event, where they are liable for causing bodily injury or property damage to others, excluding whilst travelling to and from such event. By completing the Day Participant Waiver form, you agree to abide by the Rules and Conditions of the PCAV and any Rules of the Event.

MULTIPLE HORSES: More than one horse may be ridden subject to the condition of the PCAV handbook of BY-Laws multiple horse rules 1

1st Places: All 1st places will be awarded on a count back basis, there will be no equal 1st place as per item 38.4 of PCAV By Laws
