Problem statement - Breaking the coconut is one of the tidious process it involves precision . mostly traditional method is followed to break the coconut with the hand or on the hard surface but it doesn’t helps in collecting the water so either it has to be compromised or it involves an other process before breaking the coconut .

Goal statement- Is to create a tool which helps in breaking the coconut and collecting the coconut water at the same time in an easy ,efficient & clean manner .

To avoide the damage to the floor or on any other surface ,which cannot bearup the impact force .

To collect the coconut water with out difficulty

usually in south indian hotels they use coconut in most of the food they pre-pare and they need to break atleast

10-15 coconuts per day .

In present scenario in fully furnished house it is hard to find any tough surface sutable for breaking coconut

With the help of available products in market Existing methods

holding the coconut in one hand and breaking it with

an external tool

hitting the coconut on the floor or on any hard surface

requires electricity and cost of the machine is more and occupies more space and not for domestic purpose

provoides a platform but the problem is device may move and it doesn’t

have a proper grip to hold .

Both the techniques require impact force which is attained by our hand

Coconut fruit has 3 layers 1.Exocarp 2.Mesocarp

Endocarp is the toughest part in the coconut fruit .but it can be breakable by impact force because it is brittle in nature

It is easy to break the coconut into two halfs by breaking it across the axis

When the person pushes the lever to crack the coconut ,the product tends to lift slightly above the ground from the other end to making the job even more tougher , hence the handle is provoided to balance out the lifiting and to stabilize the whole prod-uct to stay on ground .

The whole product has to be sturdy and strong , to easily achieve that it has to be manufactured from steel which makes it heavier or if it is with iron it has to be protected with rust free coating .
