Conventions Technical codes: On the majority of classical magazines I

have found, the majority of them are with a full body image of the musicians along side with their instrument(s)

The main image is either mimicking playing their instrument/conducting or smiling at the audience

The masthead is always at the top of the cover page

Symbolic codes: As the musician if often looking into the camera, this can make the reader feel invited into their life

Codes Symbolic :Usually what would associate with classical music

is old fashioned life style, like ball gowns and top hats.Which out of some of the classical magazines I have chosen, they are well dressed.

I personally used to associate classical music with older people as the audience and the musicians themselves

Technical: the best selling classical magazine is ‘BBC Music’, and in the cover I have chosen, the main image is covering the mast head, meaning that this magazine is very well known.

Audience Classical music isn’t a popular genre of music. Although it is

appropriate for all ages to listen to, there isn’t much of a ‘fan base’.

The audience of this genre mainly consists of aspiring musicians or people who are appreciative of the making of music.
