Author (A) - Beta of app Running- no sound1. What is the municipal need statement? Name the community that you developed a solution for, and include the original need statement as posted by that municipality.

Support Local Business App: An app that allows easy inputting of the locations of local businesses and displays the data in easy to search format. Enables entry of information about each business/farmers market and how it stacks up to community goals and sustainability practices. Shows how patronizing local/green businesses contribute to sustainability. Has education tips. **Haddonfield submitted to do a similar project. They could be the model used for input into an app built for all towns across the state to use when working within the Sustainable Jersey program.

East Orange, Newark, and Highland NJ have all shown need for a platform that supports community initiatives as well as support local community gardens. My application which I call City Stories accomplishes both.

2. How does your teams solution address that need? In one sentence, state what your solution is and its purpose as related to the municipal need. Be as clear and concise as possible.

The application I developed is an open platform where users, community gardens and business can post videos to a geographic location. Those videos can then be discovered by people using the app nearby.

3) Give a description of how your teams solution works. This is where you can give a step by step on how the product you created actually works. Include a link to the web application or app store where your product can be found. The judges will want to test it. Include a link to your solutions source code on GitHub (github.com)

4) Impact: In your teams perspective, what is the impact that your solution will have on the municipality(ies) in need? Please address short term and long term impact. The City Stories application will provide users a platform to tell their story of living in a particular city. The application gives the municipality feedback about how the community feels about the city. The short-term impact is artists can advertise their talent to the world. The long-term impact is businesses can grow by advertising their businesses to the community.5) Originality: What makes your solution unique or creative? This solution is unique because users are able to discover videos of people, artists, and businesses based purely on their geographic location. How is it different than other products out there? City Stories allows discovery of the important people who live and work near the user. Facebook and LinkedIn dont provide notifications when users are on a street where a video was filmed. City Stories will recognize GPS and show videos that were filmed nearby. This is where you must share what, if any, previously developed source code or third party products your team used in the development of this solution and describe how your team built upon that previously developed source code/third party product or improved it. Provide links to the original content/source code/third party product that was used. If none, stress that your solution is 100% original. My solution is 100% original and wasnt built using any 3rd party code. 6) Scalability: Can your solution be applied to any municipality or was it created specific for this one community? Please explain why it is or is not scalable. This solution can be applied to any municipality and can be scaled using AWS elastic server.

7) Usability: How usable is your solution in its current state? Is your product ready for immediate use by the municipality?My solution is about 80% complete and just needs to be modified for the specified municipality. Will a team member(s) need to be actively engaged in the implementation & ongoing maintenance of the product within the town, or will the town be able to do so on its own? You may include a workflow diagram to show how your solution will be applied within the municipality, including all end users (municipal staff & citizens).The application will require an administrator to monitor videos and remove inappropriate videos. I can provide the platform necessary to manage submitted videos. 8) Hyperlink to any supporting materials in your team folder on the CfC Google drive that your team would like the judges to review in addition to this slide deck. Please list direct links to each file on this slide.
