How To Update Your Watch Software iOS Version
1. PREPARATIONS FOR YOUR WATCH SOFTWARE UPDATE
To prepare for your watch software
update please ensure :
Your Bluetooth connection on your
device is enabled
Your COGITO watch is successfully
paired to your device and App
You have the Connected Watch
App installed on your device
2. LAUNCH THE APP AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROMPT
To start, launch your
Connected Watch App
and tap the Icon
on the bottom left of the
screen.
Under device list, please
allow a few moments for
your watch to appear.
Once the watch is
successfully paired to the
App, you will be
prompted to update
your software.
Tap ‘Update now’ to
begin the updating
process.
3. TAP ‘UPDATE NOW’ AND FOLLOW THE PROMPTS ON THE APP
Tap ‘Update Now. After your watch looks like the screen below,
tap ‘Next.’
Please do not press
any buttons on your
watch or device
during the update
process to avoid
any potential issues.
4. FORGET THE WATCH ON YOUR DEVICE
Under Bluetooth, Tap the ‘ i ‘ icon as shown below.
You can then Forget the Watch.
Tap ‘Forget Device’ and wait for 6 seconds.
Then, return to the
Connected Watch App
!! Next, you MUST Forget the Watch from your
Bluetooth Settings to avoid issues during the
update process
5. RETURN TO APP AND COMPLETE UPDATE PROCESS
!! After the update process
completes, you will receive
a confirmation prompt in the
App and your watch will
automatically be switched
off.
Tap ‘OK’.
Next, switch on your watch.
Then, proceed to your re-
pairing process.
Tap ‘Update Now’ Return to the App and
wait for it to refresh
6. RE-PAIR YOUR WATCH WITH YOUR DEVICE
Under your ‘Bluetooth’ settings, tap the ‘ i ‘ icon
next to your watch
You will be prompted to Pair.
Tap ‘Pair’ to proceed.
‘Connected’ confirms
that you have successfully paired your watch. Now, re-launch
your App
7. LAUNCH THE APP AND ALLOW SUCCESSFUL PAIRING
Launch the App and tap
the icon in the bottom-left of your screen
Please wait. The rotating gray circle indicates that
pairing is in progress.
‘Connected’ confirms successful pairing!
You can now use your
updated watch!
