General conditions for all courses:Colegio Maravillas reserves the right to change prices, to cancel or change courses and to amend timetables at any time prior to enrollment, and make additional amendments to these terms and conditions by giving 4 weeks' notice.

Enrollment: Check our webpage for the availability, dates & fees. You can easily calculate the cost of any number of weeks and different options and, in less than a minute, you can book your course and pay by credit card.If you prefer, you can send us an email at booking@ maravillas.es, attaching your personal data and the confirmation showing payment of the deposit (150€), which should be made either by credit card, bank transfer, or through our secure website www.maravillas.es

Bank charges must be paid by the sender. All enrollments are subject to the following conditions, which become legally binding upon acceptance of the enrollment by Colegio Maravillas.

CANCELLATIONS All cancellations must be notified in writing to Colegio Maravillas no less than 28 days before the start of the course.The deposit of 150 euros is non-refundable.

Cancellations received: • 21 – 14 days before the start of the course: 90 % of the remaing fees will be refunded • 14 – 7 days before the start of the course: 75 % of the remaing fees will be refunded • less than 7 days: no refund

If the student wishes to withdraw after the start of the course, there will be no refund of fees. Any refund can only be made by the office or representative to whom the fees were originally paid.

Periods of absence for vacation or any other reason may not be made up with free extension of the course. Fees are not transferrable from one person to another.

Benalmádena is an attractive, medium-sized town on the Costa del

Sol (approx. 50.000 inhabitants), located on a hill at the foot of the

Mijas mountain range, only 18 km from Málaga city and 12 km from

Málaga International Airport, which is within 3 hours flying time

from most European capitals.

Originally a sleepy Andalusian fishing village with beautiful white

washed houses, Benalmádena has developed into a lively and

animated town which retains its old charm and character.

The town is small enough to provide a peaceful and secure

environment, while large enough to offer good shops, hotels and

restaurants, a large park, a modern sports centre, a library, shopping

centres, cinemas, an art gallery, etc.

UM SERVICE: Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors (UM). Most airlines provide a service to assist these children from their point of departure to their final destination. If you book the UM service with your airline, we will provide in advance the name and telephone number of the person who will pick up the student at the airport and for departure this person will accompany the student until the boarding gate. The supplements are: On arrival 15€ / On arrival and departure € 35. Information about this service must be provided 2 weeks before the student's arrival at the latest.

This is a course designed for young

students from 13 to 17 years who

wish to attend a Spanish language

course during their springbreak.

The programme is available for

individual clients and small groups

travelling with their teachers. It has a

similar structure to our popular

Summer Course, combining Spanish

lessons with social activities, sports,

excursions and visits.

The return transfer from / to the airport is included in the course fees.

Flight details should be sent to our secretary office no later than 2 weeks

before the arrival date and should include flight number, airline, airport of

departure, and time of arrival to Málaga.

Supplement of 25 euros, in case of night arrivals/departures, applying to

transfer services to be organized AFTER 23:00 hours or BEFORE or at 07:00

a.m. Our representative will wait in the Arrival Hall ( just after customs) with

a sign bearing the student’s name.

Before being transferred to their host families, students may have to wait

with our representative for up to 30 minutes in order to gather students

arriving via other incoming flights.

BENALMÁDENA - MÁLAGA - COSTA DEL SOL

The course consists of 15 hours weekly tuition in small groups of 15 students

maximum. On the first day all students take a Language Assessment Test

which allows us to place them in the appropriate classes; we accept all levels

from beginners to advanced.

The lessons concentrate on oral and

listening skills. Our friendly and

enthusiastic teachers encourage role

play and debates and will help you

build confidence in speaking and

communicating in Spanish. Students

receive a Course Completion

Certificate at the end of the course.

Dates & fees

Accommodation is provided with local host-families, previously interviewed and inspected, in double rooms shared with international students. Lodging is on a half board basis from Monday to Friday with full board on weekends; from Monday to Friday, a hot buffet lunch is served in the school cafeteria.Extra nights on full board basis: € 33 per night

ALLERGIES: We have an increasing number of students

with allergies, especially intolerance to gluten. Please

note, although gluten-free products are available in

most supermarkets in town, we recommend that

students bring their favorite gluten-free foods (pasta,

cookies, etc.). Students suffering from a special allergy

are only accepted if they are capable of managing their

allergy independently. We accept no responsibility with

regards to allergic reactions. It is mandatory that we are

informed about all student’s allergies when enrolling:

we need this information to place your student with the

correct host family.

This course is designed for young people from and is held 13 to 17 years

during school holidays - June to August - with flexible starting dates. It

combines a formal classroom setting with a diverse program of supervised

leisure activities, visits and excursions aimed to introduce students to

Spanish culture, sports and lifestyles. is located in a Colegio Maravillas

safe residential area of Benalmádena, only 10 minutes walking distance

from the beaches.

WELFARE AND SUPERVISION

We are most concerned about the safety and well-being of our young

participants and, although our main objective is to offer an enjoyable

language stay, we have set up some rules:

1) Attendance to the Language course, afternoon and evening activities,

as well as all visits and excursions is COMPULSORY.

2) Any student who abuses alcohol or uses any other drug will be

immediately expelled from the course with no refund of fees.

3) Students must respect the curfew set by the school:

a) Daytime: all students are authorized to go out unaccompanied

until 7:30 p.m.

b) Evening: students will only be authorized to go out unaccompanied

with parental permission, and always respecting the school curfew:

please ask for our “permission form” which must be signed and returned

2 weeks before your child’s arrival to Spain.

The School is situated on the top floor of a modern

building with 17 large, bright classrooms, equipped

with audio-visual facilities and air conditioning. There

is also a library with a wide range of reading material

available, a multimedia room with free internet access,

a 25-seat multi-purpose room used for conferences or

cinema, a large sunshade terrace with a small cafeteria,

common rooms, teachers’ room, etc.
