GENERAL SALE INFORMATIONTIME AND LOCATION: 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011. The sale will be held at the Missoula Livestock Exchange, Missoula, Montana.

TRANSPORTATION: Commercial as well as private aircraft service is available to the area. Rental cars are available at the airport, or with advance notice your plane can be met at the airport.

TELEPHONE: Calls may be placed directly to the sale site by calling (406) 728-3052.

TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash, unless prior credit arrangements are established between buyer and seller. Settlements are to be made with the clerk immediately after the conclusion of the auction.

HEALTH: All cattle will be tested for Brucellosis within thirty (30) days of the sale. Health certificates will be provided with each lot sold.

FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE: All bulls, 12 months of age and over at the time of sale, are guaranteed breeders. A bull is determined a breeder when he settles one or more females and/or passes a satisfactory semen test. Certificates of a satisfactory semen test will be provided at sale time for all bulls. In the first year, if a problem occurs with a bull, we will give you a suitable replacement or you will receive full credit minus the salvage value of the original bull toward another purchase in next year's sale. Please notify the seller of the bull as soon as possible if a bull is injured.

This guarantee is a contract between the buyer and seller. All other parties are acting as agents or rep - resentatives only.

LIABILITY: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the seller for a reasonable period of time. Every precaution will be taken for the welfare of the cattle sold. Neither owner nor sales manager can be responsible for any accidents, but every effort will be made to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending the sale.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements made sale day will take precedence over printed material in catalog.

DELIVERY: Delivery charge will not be more than $300 to any central U.S. point. In some cases, this may require additional transportation by the buyer from a central location to his ranch. Every effort will be made to deliver to the buyer’s ranch or to a convenient location as close to the buyer’s ranch as possible. Buyers who do their own hauling will receive a $50 per head credit.

Welcome to Coleman Limousin Ranches 33rd Annual Production Sale! Few programs of any beef breed have the distinct commitment of hosting 33 production sales in a row. Certainly the Coleman program is one of the oldest and most time-honored Limousin programs in North America. No Limousin family in North America has achieved the accolades over the duration of time as the Larry Coleman family.

The COLE prefix is synonymous with quality and breed-leading Limousin seedstock. Most every Limousin herd in North America has been influenced by COLE seedstock. Through sires and dams, the Larry Coleman program has supplied tremendous quality in substantial numbers to serious Limousin breeders throughout North America.

This year features the 2011 National Western Carload and Lim-Flex Pens. The Coleman operation has produced the Grand Champion Carload two times; the Reserve Grand Champion Carload five times; and the People’s Choice nine out of the last fourteen years.

This year’s offering is the best ever. The approximately 130 bulls are powerful, muscular and ready for service to the industry. It is obviously highlighted by the tremendous group sired by the most popular bulls in the industry from the highly regarded Coleman breeding herd. The EPD spread, the actual performance, and the carcass merit make these the breed’s most superior herd sires available to the beef industry. The remaining bulls are subject to the same criteria and all are performance tested, fertility examined and fully guaranteed.

The open females are an outstanding and uniform group of replacement heifers and show prospects. Females purchased from the sale in past years have gone on to other breeders’ herds where they have assumed the roles of valuable donors and breeding females of rare and significant genetic strength. Many of the breed’s most noted programs contain COLE females as the single largest genetic ingredient in the cow herd. All are polled, all are black, and many are homozygous black. Their performance - coupled with pedigree - make these the most elite females to ever sell through the Annual Coleman Production Sale.
