Instructions for Installing the HuskyCT Collaborate App on iOS and Android Devices
Follow these steps to download and install the HuskyCT Collaborate mobile app for your device.
IOS Devices
1. Open the App Store and search for the Blackboard app.
2. Download, install, and open the app. 3. If prompted, press Allow to receive notifications from Blackboard 4. Type “University of Connecticut” in the application’s search bar and select it when it pops up 5. Press the “Web Login” button.

6. Click “Ok” if the privacy, cookies and term of use screen pops up 7. When prompted, log in with your NetID and password 8. Read and agree to the Blackboard terms of use

9. Once logged in, click on the top left hand side bar and select the “Courses” tab.
10. Select the course you wish to enter.
11. Scroll down to the “Course Materials” section and select the “Collaborate” tab.

12. Within the Collaborate tab, select the “Course Room” tab.
13. Once selected, the application will open a web page in you default web browser (Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.). When prompted, Click Allow to give Collaborate access to your microphone and Camera. Perform the audio and camera test to make sure everything is working properly. If you’d like to you can take the tutorial for collaborate as well.

When using your mobile device to telecommute be sure to check that you microphone is muted when not in use and that your camera is facing forward when sharing video.

Android OS Devices 1. Open the Google Play store and search for the Blackboard app.

3. Click on “Agree” to Blackboard’s Terms of Service

4. Once logged in, click on the top left hand side bar and select the “Courses” tab.
5. Click on the classroom tab you wish to join.

6. Within the Classroom tab, scroll down to the “Course Materials” tab and Select Collaborate.
7. Within the Collaborate tab select “Course Room.”
