Advanced vs. Standard Web Client
Collaboration Center offers two web clients:
The Advanced Web Client is the default web client and works best over a fast Internet connection. It offers a full set of web collaboration features including many components found in popular desktop programs like Outlook. The Advanced Web Client was developed with AJAX, a Web 2.0 technology that creates full-featured and interactive web applications.
The Standard Web Client – a reduced feature version for email, calendar and contacts. The Standard Client is recommended for users with older computers or a slow (e.g., dial-up) connection to the Internet. The Standard Web Client utilizes an HTML mode user interface.
