COLLABORATION
Collaboration as we talked about it in Chapter 2 can be defined as the situation in which two or more people work together towards a common goal, result, or product. As you will all be able to identify that group A has collaborated to form a presentation for you today. Indeed to accomplish our goal we had to use a software system that would work for all of us so GOOGLE Doc was the way to go.

Given the data is $80,000 enough? If not, how much money should be allocated in your department?
With everyone getting a computer, including the 10% newly employed, to pay for the annual fee of all the computers would be $54,000 dollars. To update all of these computers with either Office 2007, or Windows Vista would cost a maximum of $4500, which would bring this to a total cost of $58,500. To give these computers the proper hardware required we would need to add memory, processor, and disc space and would only have $21,500 to do it. It does not say how much it would cost to update this but I think maybe having $90,000 would be more than enough since we have most of the variables covered already in the total price.
When first dealing with different types of employees we would first have to figure out what type of computer would work best, either a desktop or laptop. Companies such as Dell, HP, and Lenova all offer both types of computers and also allow a lot of other customization options.
Normally, desktops are usually cheaper so if an employee does not do much traveling with their computer, then we would select a desktop. Desktop computers are more reliable than laptops , which woulddecrease future costs in computers.
Along with the computer comes the selection of CPU speed and memory. For different employees the CPU speed and memory will vary according to their occupation. If an employee is working with a lot of numbers and calculations then they would receive a faster CPU speed. Computers are very versatile and in today’s world it is very easy to create a desktop or laptop computer that can fit all of your needs.
