Charlotte’s beautiful blue gown includes a wrap over bodice, a sash to the waist and a full skirt sweeping over layers of petticoats. The birth of the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – HRH Princess Charlotte of Cambridge – is commemorated in a limited edition figurine portraying the young princess in the arms of her mother and with her brother, Prince George.

modelled in fine bone china, the figurine shows the new baby, fourth in line to the throne, who was born on 2nd may 2015 and was named two days later as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. The Royal Princess’s second and third names were chosen in tribute to her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth ii and her late grandmother, the Princess of Wales. Princess Charlotte is swaddled in a cream merino wool shawl, which was made by the Nottinghamshire firm of G Hurt and Sons, using a pattern that was first woven in the 1920s. Prince George, nearly two years older than his sister, stands by his mother’s side.

models of Bulldogs were first made by Royal Doulton in the 1940s. By this decade the breed had come to symbolise the steely determination of the British character and the ceramic versions created during the Second World War, featuring flags and hats representing the army, navy and air force, honoured the bravery and determination of military personnel and the UK’s Prime minister, Winston Churchill.

Royal Doulton’s Jack the Bulldog, famous for his cameo role in Skyfall, returns to the screen once more. Jack, who survived a traumatic explosion with little more than a few cracks to his face and some smoke damage to the Union Jack flag which is draped over his back was bequeathed to Bond by ‘m’ and now makes an appearance in the new James Bond movie SPECTRE. To mark his role in the film, Jack has the reference number DD 007m.

The Hallelujah Chorus is part of the messiah - one of the most famous pieces of choral music ever written. it was composed by George Handel in 1741 and the lyrics are taken from the King James Bible. The Oratorio is performed throughout the year but is especially popular at Christmas.

Hallelujah Chorus is dressed in a long sleeved red coat, which falls open at the front and back to reveal a white dress decorated with bright gold stars and she wears a Russian Ushanka style fur-trimmed hat.
