• 2012: First 5 Fresno County funded KSEP
• Four largest school districts agree to use tool
• FCOE was chosen project lead; other partners
• In 2013-14, three additional schools use tool
The Outcome121 schools, 10,628 students assessed in 2012
80% of Fresno Co. kindergarteners assessed “Ready to go,” monitoring or immediate follow-up

Providing summer programs and providers needed resources, support and networking opportunities to best address summer learning loss and the needs of at-risk youth.

The Outcome• An increase in number of children participating

• Encourages families to visit museum & libraries
• Families receive “passports” that can be stamped at 37 museums and 73 libraries
• Students return passports to school in Sept.
