Mission Statement The mission of Portsmouth Christian Academy is to honor God joyfully by inspiring students to maximize their God-given potential.

The School and the CommunityPortsmouth Christian Academy is the largest non-denominational Christian school in New England and is located on a beautiful 50-acre riverfront campus in Dover, NH. Based on a classical philosophy, PCA’s traditional Preschool – Grade12 educational program is academically rigorous and culminates in an excellent college preparatory Upper School program. Over 50% of the Upper School faculty hold masters degrees and 18% hold doctoral degrees. Founded in 1979, the school provides quality Christian education to families in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.

The CurriculumPCA provides students with a broad based college preparatory curriculum grounded in a Christian worldview. Over 95% of PCA graduates will attend a four-year college or university after graduating.PCA prepares students for the academic and social challenges ahead, as well as to be contributing and productive members of society on a global level. Critical thinking skills and public speaking are emphasized; students are encouraged to apply these skills in all subject areas and to use them to explore the fundamental questions of life’s purpose, personal responsibility and faith.

In addition to the rigorous academics, PCA offers students the opportunity to grow and learn through extracurricular programs including athletics, clubs, fine and performing arts, chapel and small groups, student leadership training, community service and missions.
