Stafford MSD Superintendent Dr. Robert
Bostic is the only Superintendent in the
United States to serve on the Microsoft K-12
Advisory Committee.

STAFFORD ROBOTICS RECEIVES $10,000 GRANT FROM H-E-B
KICKSTART CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to Stafford KICKSTART KIDS students
that competed at the Game of Champions in
Navasota this past weekend. The team won a total of
nine first places, five second places, 5 third places
and congratulations to Joshua Servellon for winning
the 17 and under junior under belt Grand Champion.

COACH SAVANAH NAMED HOUSTON TEXANS HIGH SCHOOL COACH OF THE WEEK
Congratulations Stafford Athletic Director/Head Football Coach Ken
Savanah, who was named the Houston Texans Coach of the Week last
week.
Coach Savanah was nominated by the Stafford Cobras Youth Football
Program.
...The Texans honor one coach every week. The organization will
officially recognize Coach Ken Savanah today and present him with a
$2,500 grant for the SHS Football Program.
At Houston’s regular season home finale vs. Jacksonville, the Texans
will select a High School Coach of the Year and award that coach's
program an additional $5,000 grant.

2018 STATE OF SCHOOLS EVENT
Stafford MSD Superintendent Dr. Robert Bostic had the
opportunity to share the great news of SMSD student and
staff achievement, as well as the District's vision and
goals before 500+ people at the Fort Bend Chamber of
Commerce State of Schools Event on Wednesday
afternoon.

SPARTANS TO HOST NAVASOTA NEXT FRIDAY
VS.
Stafford (2-4, 1-1) will host Navasota (2-4, 2-0) at 7
p.m. Friday at Spartan Stadium.
The teams split their last two games, with Stafford
winning in 2016, and Navasota, in 2017.
This is the first year that the Spartans and the
Rattlers are competing in the same District.

STAFFORD DADS CLUB
Stafford MSD Board President Christopher
Caldwell Stafford Elementary Assistant Principal
Jeffery Williams, and Stafford City Council
Member Don Jones organized the first meeting of
the new Stafford Elementary School Dads Club last
week.
Jones, a former Principal in Stafford MSD, had a
Dads Club during his time with the District.
Caldwell has helped create one at the secondary
level.
The group is being revived to help SMSD fathers
become more involved in the District.
