Please remember that the construction site is out of bounds.
In emergency situations (i.e. fire alarms) the emergency exit at the south end of the 180 hallway (across from computer lab 184) will be available.
Construction Project Update
Phase One: Construction of new South Entrance• Planned completion by September 2010* (View Construction Schedule)
• Construction Management firm has been hired (Wales McLelland of Burnaby, BC)
• Site Supervisor will arrive Sept 21, 2009
• First public tender (for foundation) was advertised on Sept 15 and will close Sept 24
• Weekly updates will be posted for staff on the Announcements board.

Phase Two: Reconfiguration of Existing Office Space• Planned completion by March 2011*
• Phase two will begin upon completion of Phase One
• Office space in the existing Kootenay Hall building will be reconfigured to maximize efficiency. Plans are currently underway and are subject to change.
* Completion dates are our best estimate only and may change as the project progresses
