SHERRY MASSEY With a running jump she could easily hitch her wagon to a star.
JERRY FERGUSON When you have good looks, you don't need brains.
RODNEY HETMER I like my cow, I like my cow a lot.
LORI T-RAVIS Rules were meant to be broken.
CINDY LAPRADE An all around girl who radiates joy-her only weakness is
boys.
DENEE WILLIAMS I'm not lazy, I'm just saving my energy.
TERRI DICKERSON You can never tell what I'll do next.
KANDY CALDWELL Kandy is a careful student-careful not to overwork, that is.
BOBBY HOLLINGSWORTH Don't let Bobby's quiet attitude make you think he misses any of the fun.
KEVIN WOODRUM This fellow never has much to say, but smart fellows always talk that way.
RODNEY PARTIN He never seems to worry, just takes things as they come, But when he sees a girl, you ought to see him run.
SUE NELL HARGER She must think a lot, since she says so little.
LISA HOLLINGSWORTH To get out of school, that's my desire.
BONNIE IREY When there is fun, she is always around, when there is work she can never be found.

The annu 1 staff of Fruitvale High came up with a few que tion for orne former tea her for Mr. jame Carne .
The e w re the three qu tion :
What wa their fir t impre sion of him? What will you mi mo t about him? Has he changed any in the past twenty- even years of teaching?
YEARS OF
James (Jimmy) Carnes
Mrs. McEnturff
My first impression of him wa that he was mean because he picked on me and kidded me. He hasn' t changed a bit either. I'm going to miss him, especially his support, humor, and his building up of my confidence and spirit.
Mrs. Drake My first impression of him was that he never made an ugly comment about anyone. He hasn't changed a bit. I' ll mis him most of all counting his money. I know he'll miss the kids and I feel he'll be back to substitute sometimes.
Mrs. Maciel My fir t impression was that he was humorous and that he picked on me. He hasn't changed a bit either. I'll miss his stories especially about when he wa in the service. Fruitvale won't be the same without him.

1986 CLASS PROPHECY
Well, here it is the year 2010. Things have changed around here at Fruitvale High. ju t thi year ED HOLLI GSWORTH was given a permanent seating in the president's chair of the Senior Cia . Do you remember hi brother BOBBY and Bobby's wife LISA? Bobby now owns his own paint and body shop alled "Bobby's Custom Paints. Hi wife Lisa is part
time secretary when they can find a baby itter for their 6 children. What about TERRI DICKERSON? I heard that she's now the head chef at the Fruitvale HighS hool Cafeteria, where her three children eat regul, rly. Last night on the news I saw that KANDY CALDWELL was celebrating her lOth wedding anniversary with George Strait at a party given by her boss, Willie Nelson. I noticed in the paper that JERRY FERGUSON was named MVP of Superbowl forty-four. This is his last year with the Dallas Cowboys of whom KEVIN WOODRUM is now head coach and part owner. Did you hear about LORI TRAVIS, the famous movie star of Dynasty, who replaced Joan Collins, recently married Vince eil of Motley Crue after a mad fling she had with Don Johnson of "Miami ice. Did you read in the Wall Street Journal that Businesswoman DENEE WILLIAMS bought the landrights to Harvard University, and is the head professor of medicine there, which is also where her daughter attends. I heard that RODNEY HETMER was electedthe National Chairman of the Fort Worth Stock Show last year. This year he bought 4,()(X) acres and 10,000 head of cattle from the Ewings of Dallas. Did you see in the headlines where H. Ross Perot died and left RODNEY PARTIN in charge of the student handbook laws of Texas? Rodney passed a new law that students could be absent as much as they want and fail any class and still pass .. Remember how all of those times Sue ell had to mow the grass over at the Post Office? Well, SUE NELL HARGER is the Postmistress General there now and you never have to worry about your mail getting lost. CINDY GIPSON now owns her own day care center named "Cindy's Kids" because during high school she kept everyone else's. She's also currently writing a sequel to her novel, "How to Raise a Child." One of my friends joined the Army the other day and you'll never guess who the drill sergeant is? SHERRY MASSEY!!! When the Americans took over Libya, Sherry is the one who led the infamous attack. Of all people I didn't expect to see is CINDY LAPRADE MILLER, the famous cosmetologist. She's so famous I didn't think that she'd have the time to talk but as usual Cindy always has time for her friends. Do you remember Patrick? Oh, PATRICK TOOMEY. He joined a rock band after he graduated. I think that they were together for almost 20 years. He's now a host on MTV's Annual Music Awards. Well, I guess the Senior Class of 1986 is doing pretty well for themselves. Funny how things work out!!
1986 CLASS WILL
We the Senior cia!>!> of Fruitvale High School being of warped minds and twisted bodies do b queath the following: CINDY GIPSON Leave Judy Scott her un nown locker. SH RRY MA SEY leaves Sheila Fincher her easy, outgoing humour

AI o included is a special contribution to the Hu ·tll Foundation Center for Hyper-extended Athlete . KEVI WO DRUM Leaves his parking spot to Tammy Woodrum, And he leaves DeAnn Reev s sitting in the bare grounds alone to read a book. CI DY LAPRADE Leaves her little burned up Volkswagon to Angie Ralph as well a her career in the nursing home business. LORI TRAVIS Gives to Heath r Macpher on the luck of meetmg another member of Stryper. To Lori Purvis he leaves the plea ure of giving Mr. Surratt a hard time. DE EE WILLIAMS Leave her track shoe to Li a D1c erson. PATRICK TOOME Leave Twyla Brown his trobe light to do aerobic e ercises by. ERRY FERGU ON

When in the course of human events It becomes necessary for the student body to stand up and be counted, pride in our school and the desire to attend school in our own community is a determining factor.
Not only do we take pnde m our school, but in ourselves and what is instilled in each student to become the best possible citizen he or she can be.
