We will then craft and create individual medicine shields to reflect our current relationship. In our second meeting, we will explore each participant’s interpretation of their shield and how it may reflect the teachings of the ancients and our current relationship with the natural world.

You don't have to be in a top-level occupation to be an influencer; whenever your life touches another person, you exert influence. Everything you do– at home, at work, or at play—has an effect on the lives around you. Regardless of what your goals are in life, you can attain them faster, you can be much more effective and the contribution you make can be longer lasting if you learn to increase your influence.

EVERYONE COMMUNICATES, FEW CONNECTIf you want to succeed, you must learn how to connect with people.  If you can connect with others, your sense of community improves, your ability to cultivate teamwork increases, and your influence multiplies.  People who connect with others have better relationships, experience less conflict, and get more things done.  Leaders who have learned the skills of connection are able to communicate their ideas persuasively, establishing buy-in and attracting followers. Anyone can learn how to make every communication an opportunity for a powerful connection.

PUT YOUR DREAMS TO THE TESTYour dream has power to motivate and encourage you. But will it reward you? Most people fail to realize their potential because their dream remains hypothetical. This class takes your dream from ethereal to achievable, helping you crystallize your vision and galvanize your commitment by helping you answer key questions like: Is my dream really my dream? Am I depending on factors in my control to achieve my dream? Do I have a strategy to achieve my dream? Have I included the people I need to realize my dream? Am I willing to pay the price for my dream? Does my dream benefit others?

These classes introduce the fundamentals, key concepts, parameters, how to use classifiers and the meaning of the ASL language along with the history and the culture of the deaf community as they relate to the language and its origins. These are very interactive classes where you will participate and have a lot of interaction using what you have learned to help you retain the material. Instructor Rae Henson was born deaf and has been a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing and also an American Sign Language Instructor for over 10 years. In the introductory level, beginners will learn to spell words, sign in small sentences, and have short conversations with other signers. Levels II and III will continue to build new vocabulary and classifiers while practicing these skills in conversations. You need to have taken the previous level(s) prior to registering for II or III classes (or get permission from the Instructor.)

The best way to learn a language is to live experiences with others through the language! That's what this French course aims to do. Forget about book exercises, grammar, and memorizing vocabulary lists. In this class we will bring French alive with creative storytelling and games in the classroom and fun activities outside the classroom like hiking and picnicking. This is a beginner course in French designed to give participants a base of vocabulary and expressions in French, serving as a starting point for getting around a Francophone country and making connections with native French speakers. This course does involve some moderate physical activity (three mile hike, for example).
