DESCRIPTION
Colour explodes everywhere! Art is what you make it! I was struck by the lines of the yellow cranes and the bold splash of bus, smatterings of raindrops on the windscreen, pepperings of tail lights. The traffic lights changed a the right moment and created a balance to the tail lights . SNAP! The image suggested the poem which celebrates the beauty to be found in the everyday, beauty in unexpected places.TRANSCRIPT
Colour Burst
Raindrops burst,Their brillianceSplashing down the windscreen.Storm colours’ sharp intake,The ‘wow’ factor.
A reach of yellow craneAcross slate grey,A yellow and royal blue bus,Interrupts.Brake lights,Tail lights compete.Car colours and chrome sidelineThe green verge.
The painterly paletteIs completer forA change in traffic lights.
