Pigment - Substance that produces

colour, characteristic to colouring,

MatterMixed to produce paint and similar products.

Colours are more than just a substance.

Colours are Universal.Like Design , we cannot

ignore them.

Light Rays FROM THE SUN create a Spectrum

which allows us to Manipulate

COLOUR CREATIVELY & Beneficially to our

Specific & Special Needs.

Colours can have

a profound

effect on us

PHYSICALLY,

& SPIRITUALLY.

MENTALLY &

EMOTIONALLY

Colour has three basic

expressions:

PERSONAL, LOCAL &

SYMBOLIC

Colour is a vibration of light.

A Prism helps us to understand how

light is broken into several

Colours.

The seven colours

of the spectrum

have varying wavelengths

and frequencies.

The human eye can see 7,000,000

different colours.

Colour-Blind people

mainly see the Primary

Colours.

Our retinas have three types of colour sensors.

These colours are called

additive primaries.- red, blue and

yellow

It is these three colours

that are mixed

to create all of the other

colours we see.
