Demonstration (F and H)

1. Fold paper in half.2. Draw a line down the folded edge.3. Draw lines diagonally across the opposite corners of the page.4. Measure 6cm from the centre of the page along each line and make a small mark.5. Join up the 6 marks to make a hexagon shape.6. Measure from the 6 corners of the hexagon a

further 6cm, make a small mark for each.7. Join up the 6 marks to make a 2nd larger

hexagon shape.

Demonstration (S Band)

Mid/Final Review: Write a target on the back of your

work…•I need to draw my colour wheel with less pencil pressure so I can rub out any mistakes.

•I need to draw my colour wheel accurately.

•I need to use less water in my paint mixture.

•I need to use less powder paint in my paint mixture.

•I need to use less paint and water on my brush to paint carefully up to the edge of the line.

•I need to use the large brush for large areas and the tip of the small paint brush for the details.

•I need to paint smoothly by painting in one neat direction.

•I need to make sure the colours are painted int eh right place.

Painting Tips1. To paint neatly and with control.2. Clean the paint brush in between

Cleaning Up...•2 students to wash up

•FOLD the newspapers for reuse

•Clean their tables with a wet sponge/cloth

•WASH hands at the end of the lesson!!!

•2 students to collect paintings after the review.

•Complete the clean up activity when your table is clean!
