FEELGOOD CU The Hunger Summit 2011 New York City This October, four of FeelGoodCU’s members had the opportunity to attend The Hunger Summit hosted by FeelGood World. It was held in New York City and culminated in The Hunger Project’s Gala where they awarded the Africa Prize to the Liberian Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Florence Chenoweth. Murrill Oakes, Mary Glenn, Johanna Lou, and Katey Howitt participated in various workshops, panels, and lectures about our role in the movement to sustainably end world hunger. Perhaps best of all was the opportunity to meet with other FeelGooders from across the nation who all came to NYC for the event. Fall 2011 What FeelGood Is All About! “Ending World Hunger, One Grilled Cheese At A Time!” The slogan of Feel Good is ending world hunger, one grilled cheese at a time. In our cha pter, we carry out this message through grill shifts throughout the week. All of the profits from the grill shifts go to our partner, The Hunger Project. They have projects in countries throughout the world and they end world hunger using sustainable solutions. Instead of just giving money or supplies to the impoverished communities, the Hunger Project creates programs to give the communities the tools so they can create their own success. -Benjy Schechner Columbia 2015

FeelGoodCU has had wonderful

opportunities this semester to

continue partnerships on campusas well as begin to branch out to

the greater NYC area. Most

excitingly we’ve forged a new

partnership with the Upright

Citizens Brigade, a comedy group

located in the East Village.

They’ve invited us to grill at their

shows, which have allowed us to

start new conversations about the

FeelGood movement as well as

generate outside funds. As wemove forward, we hope to

continue bringing FeelGood to
