Concert Sunday, March 10, 2019, 3 pm Lincoln Theatre, 769 E. Long St., Columbus, OH 43203 Open to the public. No admission charge. Students who play the following instruments may participate: Strings: violin, viola, cello, bass Woodwinds: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon Brass: trumpet, trombone, horn, tuba Percussion: various instruments including drums, timpani and mallet instruments Harp Rehearsals Ft. Hayes High School Monday evenings: 7–9 pm Dec. 10 Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28 Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25 Sat., Mar. 9, 11 am–2 pm Lincoln Theatre Monday, March 4, 7–9 pm Andrés Lopera conductor Andrés Lopera serves as Assistant Conductor of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Music Director of the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestras program. He conducts the nationally acclaimed CSO Youth Orchestra for students in grades 9–12. Funding for the Columbus All City Orchestra has been provided by Safelite AutoGlass, The Woodhull Fund of the Columbus Foundation, and the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. Special thanks to Betty Hill, Unified Arts Supervisor for Columbus City Schools, and Mark Donavan and Stephanie Rzewnicki, instrumental specialists at Ft. Hayes High School. Strings: 2 octave major scales: D, G, B♭ Woodwind and brass: 2 octave major scales: B♭, F, G Percussion: demonstrate proficiency on snare drum, timpani and/or xylophone including rudiments on snare drum; 3 octave scale on xylophone: G, F

CostNo audition fee or tuition fee. Students must make their own transportation arrangements. Student participants will receive a certificate of participation. Special funding has been secured for this Columbus Symphony project.
