Nine drivers took five runs each, half with the sun still up, but low in the west, under partly cloudy skies. Starting with the Third Annual Paul Brown Memorial Grand Prix Triple Regional club races on the first weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to help put on the races. Special thanks goes out to Monica Shaw from DMVR for helping me get the race paperwork completed, stepping up to be Race Chair so that I could work in Timing and all the prep work and clean up that it takes to put on a club race. Also, thank you to Mark Walker for helping out, he covered several specialties including being the Radio Dude, Hospitality, Registration and trailer hauler. I did have someone tell me that he was even cleaning the trailer and even vacuumed it out. I am sure that it needed it after all of our RallyCrosses. We all tend to drag in dirt on our feet during those events. We could not have made the race weekend run smoothly if it wasn’t for the help of all involved, including Stewards, Chiefs and everyone else. Thank you all for your help! Of course the races would not have happened without all of the drivers coming out for the event. We had a good turnout. Hopefully the turn out for the MPH club races on August 8-9 will be even better! Please see the results in this issue of the Exhaust Notes. con’t. pg.8

No, Steve wasn't running her over. She thought she could fix it. Pit stop She saw that the bumper rail lookedpushed in on one side, so went through gyrations trying to pull it back out. She was really trying... standing...sitting... foot up against other side. Steve just looked at her calmly like what do you think you're going to do?!!

June 13 & 14, was the nextweekend and the next NRSCCAevent, with the RallyCross Schooland Twilight RallyCross on

Saturday and the point’s event on Sunday. SteveDucharme gives a detailed run down in his article. Theresults for the two RallyCrosses are also included inthis edition.

The Formula SAE has been at Lincoln Airpark the weekof June 17th through the 20th. There are severalNebraska Region members who have volunteered theirtime to help out with this event. Including setting upthe fence this past Sunday. I know they appreciate allof your time and effort you have put forth to help maketheir event a success.

Next up for your Region is the Solo Points Series #3 onSunday, June 21st. I am afraid I will not make that eventdue to a prior commitment to work at the Majors Racesthat same weekend at Kansas Speedway. I have faiththat the event will go well, because we have a greatgroup of people who help out.

The weekend after that, June 28th, NRSCCA will host

an extra Solo (no points for this event) at MotorsportsPark Hastings. In case you have not run one of theseSolo’s, it is actually held on a portion of the track. It isthe same course every time, so if you come out to all 3events that will be held there this summer, you cancompare your times and hopefully improve with eachrun.

I hope to see you soon at a NRSCCA event near us!

Yours in the sport, Candy Gerber
