My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for He has looked with favor on His lowly servant. (Luke 1:46-48)

Lois Ann Mader, will share how Jesus made himself present during a difficult time of her life

and how He became her Savior, Lord, and Higher Power.

As a faithful Catholic laywoman, involved in living the social gospel, Lois had a deep sense

that there must be “Something More”. Her answer was provided through the Baptism in the

Holy Spirit. This experience of grace began a love affair with Jesus and Scriptures, the Holy

Word of God that transformed her life. She was then lead to become a certified Spiritual

Director ministering to women in the Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currently

in Fort Myers, Florida where she resides. She served as a lay preacher for Mission 2000, a

parish mission program. Lois Ann directed women retreats and couples retreats, plus

enjoyed working with Life Teen Ministry, golfing and walking.

Lois Ann and her husband Gerry, served the Catholic Charismatic Renewal leadership team

in the Milwaukee Archdioceses, Venice, Florida dioceses and nationally. She is the founding

Coordinator for Magnificat, Mother of Mercy chapter in Fort Myers. Currently Lois is

facilitating a Life in the Spirit Seminar. Her favorite scripture verse, “God who began the good

work within you will keep right on helping you grow.” Phil1:6

About Magnificat

Magnificat is an international ministry to Catholic women. Its purpose is to help Catholic

women open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives

to Jesus as Lord and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by their love, service, and

sharing the good news of salvation. It thus provides opportunities which will foster a

desire to grow in holiness. Magnificat ministers to those women in and out of the Catholic

Charismatic Renewal whose faith in the person of Jesus Christ has allowed them to believe

in the activity of God's spirit in their lives.
