WHAT TO DO

First, cut up your comic book pages into 3 differnt size strips.

Now, cut 10-15 heart shapes from your comic book pages, using the 3 different size cut outs provided.

Superhero Hack: Fold over the paper strips a few times and then cut out the heart shape. Boom! Multiple hearts.

WHAT TO DO

Next, use the hearts you cut out for the petals. Start with the smallest ones and then work your way to the biggest ones. Roll the tips of the petals to give it a flower look and use glue to stick them around the center.

Now take the strip of comic book and fold over the bottom. Cover the top of the pen in glue, and roll the bottom of the paper around the top.

For the stem, take two thin pieces of comic book paper and wrap them around the pen and flower stem, gluing as you go.

That’s it! Once it’s dry, you’ve got a cool comic book pen for Mother’s day.
