In a small village in Nepal

A girl’s life shall change forever

Her name is Lakshmi

Hard times hit after a monsoon destroyed their crops

And due to her step-fathers gambling away of their money

Lakshmi is Sold

To work in an Indian brothel

Even though she makes friends with some of the other girls

She dreams of returning home

But she can never repay her debt

Then one day a man from America visits Lakshmi and promises to

return and rescue her.

Lakshmi waits for the American
