• Inner wall – seam welded, 20 ga 304 or 316 stainless steel tubes with ½” wide flanged ends

• Outer wall – spot welded overlap, 24 ga Alz, 304, or 316 options.

Factory-Built Features

Boiler Use

• All fuels– Non-condensing gas appliances

• Mid efficiency (Category 1 or 3)• High efficiency condensing models (Cat 2 or 4) should use

Heatfab® (AL29-4C® stainless inner wall)– Oil– Wood/coal

• Typically recommend 1” air or 1” blanket models in 304/Alz and 304/304 for exterior apps if Alz is not painted

• Typically use low temp silicone sealant (P600)– Good for 600°F flue temps and lower

Engine Use• Diesel or Natural gas fired

• Great aesthetic alternative to traditional schedule 40 pipe that is traditionally used– Usually recommend 2” blanket model

• Positive pressure application– No adjustables allowed in system– Our pipe (w/o adjustables) will handle up to 60” w.c.

• We utilize Bellows Joints for our expansion components

• We always incorporate ER valves (aka Pressure Relief Valves)– Expensive item to forget in a budget quote

• Use high temp cement-like sealant (P2000) in v-band

Grease Duct Use• All models are grease duct rated

– Model N single wall• 18” clearance to combustibles

– VSI (1” airspace)• Clearances per instructions

– IVSI-C1, C2, C4• Clearances per instructions

– IVSI-Z3, Z4• Zero clearances and 2 hour fire rated

• Use low temp silicone sealant (P600)

• All around better alternative to field wrapped black iron– Fully code compliant (IMC, UMC, NFPA 96)

• Can intermix Ampco models and can intermix black iron with our pipe

• Zero to minimal slope required by Ampco
